My 16 year old brother JD is pretty good at welding and fabricating so he and I set to working fixing all the holes in the tub. On the really big holes JD put dots of weld into the holes while I held a piece of wood underneath to keep it from going through. (No, we did not weld all of the drain holes up- only the extra holes drilled in by the previous owners, and those holes that looked like a shotgun slug had been shot threw it). After the welding was done, we grounded the welds smooth and flat even with the floor. We have to finish sanding and prepping the tub then we will be ready to paint the inside of the tub with bed liner.
